A very special and bittersweet project, this one — creating the visual identity for the final tour of Pedro Gonçalves and Tó Trips. As they said when announcing that this would be their last tour: “It’s not a sad ending; there is a lot to celebrate. In a way, we’re ending as we started: just the two of us. We’re returning to the stage with a tour, a journey through our history.”

Dead Combo was a Portuguese band whose main musical influences included Fado, Rock, Western film soundtracks, as well as music from South America and Africa. Eighteen years after the band’s formation, the two musicians made a joint decision to bring the project to a close, embarking on a farewell tour that began at the end of 2019 and concluded in 2020.

In December 2021, Pedro Gonçalves passed away at the age of 51.
