E Depois da Solidão
This project tells the stories of eleven people who, at different moments in their lives, had to find new paths. People who found, through activity, companionship, and the discovery of new interests, a way to reconnect with the world and continue to be part of it.
Through photography and words, these portraits and stories speak of a reality that touches many lives: the need to keep building relationships, give meaning to time, care for both body and mind, discover new places, and find reasons to leave the house.
Loneliness can arrive in many ways. Sometimes it settles in slowly; at other times, it comes unexpectedly, following a loss, a change, or simply the passage of time. But loneliness does not have to be a permanent state.
These eleven stories show us that, even after difficult moments, it is possible to remain active, to discover, to build new relationships, and to make plans for the future. Getting to know these people, their strength, and their determination to keep moving forward may also inspire others to find their own way.
Because there can be life beyond loneliness.
