Concertos nos Bairros

I was invited to develop the visual identity and communication for the project “Concertos nos Bairros”, a series of four concerts in different neighbourhoods of Lisbon, including Belém, Carnide, and Parque das Nações, featuring Maestro António Vitorino D’Almeida.

At the heart of the identity is a series of striking black-and-white profile portraits of the Maestro, which I photograph at the entrances of each concert venue. These photographs aim to convey the presence, character, and artistry of António Vitorino D’Almeida, making him the visual anchor of the project.

To complement the portraits, I collaborated with artist Pedro Lourenço, who designed a custom typeface and composed an exclusive identity piece. The combination of the portraits and typographic work resulted in four distinctive posters, one for each concert, each reflecting the unique atmosphere of its neighbourhood while keeping the Maestro as the central figure.
